Bridgeport Firefighters Contain Overnight Commercial Blaze

Bridgeport, Connecticut — October 3 —At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Friday, Bridgeport firefighters arrived at a commercial building on Connecticut Avenue that was experiencing a second-alarm fire. By 5:50 a.m., crews had put out the fire after working through the night. There were no reported injuries. The Fire Marshal's Office is still looking into the cause.
