Needham, MA - A team of Needham firefighters participated today, alongside several other fire departments from across New England, in the Advanced Gas Firefighting class hosted by Eversource. The course focused on advanced techniques for gas leak detection, monitoring, and mitigation using a variety of instruments and firefighting materials. Collaborating with multiple companies and agencies during emergencies, the firefighters emphasized that training with experts from across the region enhances their ability to provide the highest level of safety and operational efficiency.
