Manchester, Vt. — October 3 — The Manchester Fire Department is nearing its goal to build “The Annex,” a new facility for fire and rescue equipment storage.

According to 2nd Assistant Chief and Fundraising Chairman Bill Beideman, the department has raised $156,000 of the $200,000 goal. The project will provide secure, centralized space for apparatus and equipment, improving response readiness and efficiency.

Beideman thanked residents and local businesses for their continued support, noting that the effort reflects the community’s commitment to public safety.
