On October 1 at approximately 430 pm, Units responded to a motor vehicle accident at Radburn Rd. and High St. outside the firehouse of Fair Lawn Fire Co #4. The 2 vehicle crash ended up in the intersection with one vehicle resting on its side. The occupant was unable to self extricate, due to the resting place of the vehicle. Fair Lawn Rescue Squad and Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Fire Co #4 responded to the scene. Rescue was able to use struts to stabilize the vehicle and a glass cutting tool was used to remove the windshield to allow the driver to exit the car. The ambulance assessed the driver and he declined any medical treatment.
