Somers, CT - On October 6, 2025, Middlebury Fire Department personnel took part in rope rescue training led by instructors from Missioncit. The session focused on maintaining proficiency in these critical technical rescue skills to ensure readiness when emergencies arise. With the town’s many wooded areas and hiking trails, having both the proper equipment and advanced rope rescue training is essential to keeping the community safe.
