October 4, Franklin — CT: The Franklin Volunteer Fire Department has been concentrating its training sessions on fundamental Firefighter I (FF1) skills for the past few weeks. During simulated emergencies, crews have been practicing pump handling, hose line stretching, ladder operations, and helping a downed firefighter.
