Seymour, CT - The Great Hill Hose Company proudly took part in the 2025 Connecticut State Firefighter’s Convention & Parade, hosted by the Orange Volunteer Fire Department in celebration of their 100th Anniversary.

During the event, Great Hill’s Tanker 19 earned 2nd Place for Best Tanker in the State, missing the top spot by just 0.08 of a point to their friends at Riverton Volunteer Fire Department’s Tanker 34.

Even after 31 years of dedicated service, the company’s 1994 Peterbilt continues to impress both judges and spectators alike — a true reflection of the care, craftsmanship, and pride that define the Great Hill Hose Company.

The department extends its appreciation to everyone who made the event a success and offers heartfelt congratulations to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department on reaching their remarkable 100-year milestone.
