Richmond Firefighters Responded to Garage Fire on Sunset Drive

Honeoye, N.Y. — September 15 — The Richmond Volunteer Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Sunset Drive on September 15.Several fire departments were involved in the response at the scene. The fire started in the garage and spread into the connected home, so firefighters had to deal with the fire in both parts of the building. Fire crews worked together to control the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further into the house.


Support from nearby fire departments was provided as mutual aid, bringing in more people and equipment to help during the incident.
