WALTHAM, MA - On October 3rd at 8:00 P.M., Waltham Fire Dispatched Engine 4 and Medic 1 to a traffic accident at Vernon Street and South Streets for a two-car crash. Engine 4 signed off with one car into a traffic signal pole and one car 30-feet away. A man driving a Dodge Charger ran a red light and broadsided another vehicle. The woman in that vehicle was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with unknown injuries. The operator of the Charger was arrested for OUI.
