Rumney Fire Responds to 17 Incidents and 19 EMS Calls in September

Rumney, N.H. — October 3 — The September activity report from the Rumney Fire Department detailed a hectic month filled with training, emergency responses, and continued safety precautions. Seven mutual aid requests were among the 17 fire-related calls that crews responded to: three to Plymouth for a carryout, an appliance fire, and a building fire; one to Lincoln for station coverage; two to Campton-Thornton for a building fire and an outside fire; and one to Warren for a motor vehicle fire. Two car crashes, one car fire, one outdoor fire, one illegal burn, one carbon monoxide alarm, one smoke investigation, two service calls, and one tree and wires down incident were among the other responses.
EMS teams were also busy, handling 19 medical calls over the month.
