Rumney, N.H. — September 15 — At Russell Elementary School, the Rumney Fire Department and Plymouth Fire-Rescue collaborated on a monthly training session. The main operational tactics that enhance coordination in actual emergencies were the main topic of the Monday evening. In order to ensure that the ladder truck could position itself for effective operations, firefighters first reviewed apparatus placement, making sure the first-due engine left enough space. After that, the crews took turns participating in practical exercises that covered crucial skills for both departments, such as working in the bucket, climbing the ladder, and safely transferring from the bucket onto the roof.
