On Wednesday October 6th 2021 at 4:00pm the Suffolk County Police Department 7th Precinct responded to a 9-1-1 call of a reported Motor Vehicle Accident involving a school bus in the intersection of Alder Drive and Neighborhood Road. Upon arrival of Suffolk County Police Department Sector Car 710 quickly assessed the scene. A firefighter from Mastic Beach Fire Department and a Fire Police Lieutenant from Patchouge Fire Department that stopped to help advised the officer that there were not kids on the bus. The officer asked the driver of the ford expedition and the school bus driver and aid if they required medical attention. The officer than took insurance and driver licenses of both vehicles involved and wrote up an accident report. A tow truck was requested for the car and the bus company sent a tow for the bus.
