Harmar Township, PA. — September 25 — Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company personnel responded to a rollover incident involving several parked vehicles located in the 2700 block of Freeport Road within Harmar Township's business area.

The rescue team was initially called to the scene at around 9:17 p.m. for a reported single-vehicle crash with unknown injuries. As the firefighters were en route, the situation was upgraded following additional information that revealed the vehicle had rolled over.

The first officer to arrive found a single vehicle overturned after colliding with six parked vehicles.

The driver had exited the vehicle on their own before the firefighters arrived and stated there were no injuries. At the time of the crash, all six parked vehicles were empty.

Firefighters secured the overturned vehicle and coordinated with crews from the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department and Blawnox Volunteer Fire Company after the situation was upgraded, bringing in more rescue resources to the scene.

Allegheny Valley crews stayed at the scene for almost two hours.

They helped clear the wreckage and assisted the towing company in removing the damaged vehicles.

This incident was the second vehicle-related accident handled by the rescue company that evening.

Earlier, crews had also responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 28 in Harmar Township at approximately 7:22 p.m.

Local and state law enforcement, emergency medical services, and the towing service also provided assistance at both scenes.
