Manchester Fire Knocks Down Kitchen Blaze in Minutes

Manchester, Conn. — September 11 — On Thursday, the Manchester Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 10 Elro Street.
Arriving crews found a well-involved kitchen fire and quickly went to work. Multiple attack lines were stretched, and searches were conducted on all floors of the home. The fire was brought under control in less than 10 minutes, thanks to the coordinated and rapid response.
Three occupants of the home were displaced by the fire, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. The department credited its crews’ quick actions for containing the fire and preventing further damage.
