Newington, Conn. — September 30 — The Newington Volunteer Fire Department shared an exciting update as progress continues on the department’s new Engine 2, now taking shape and nearing completion.
The new apparatus will strengthen the department’s response capabilities, offering modern equipment and enhanced safety for firefighters during emergencies. The department looks forward to officially welcoming Engine 2 into service in the near future.
