Crews Stabilize Vehicles and Clear Debris Following Washington Boulevard Accident

McKeesport, PA - Emergency responders from Liberty Borough and neighboring Glassport were dispatched Monday evening following a two-vehicle collision along Washington Boulevard that left both cars damaged and debris scattered across the roadway.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. on September 21, 2026, Allegheny County 911 alerted the Volunteer Fireman's Association of Liberty Borough (Station 183) alongside Citizen’s Hose Company No. 1 of Glassport (Station 161) to the 2700 block of Washington Boulevard for a reported motor vehicle accident with possible injuries.
Rescue 183 and Engine 161 arrived on scene to discover that a passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Washington Boulevard had veered and struck an unoccupied vehicle parked curbside in front of a private residence. Both automobiles sustained moderate structural damage from the impact.
First responders conducted immediate scene assessments and patient evaluations, confirming that no serious injuries occurred. Fire crews worked systematically to stabilize the involved vehicles, mitigate battery and fluid hazards, and sweep shattered vehicle components and fluids from the travel lanes to ensure safe traffic flow before clearing the scene.
