Ansonia, Conn. — September 21 — In a significant move to improve the department's capacity to respond to water-related emergencies and protect the community, the Ansonia Fire Department has announced the arrival of a new rescue boat. The Valley Community Foundation and Ed Lane's family were thanked by the department for their kind grant support, which enabled the project.
