Town of Barre Firefighters Respond to 17 Calls in Two Days
Oct. 2, 2025 — It has been a busy week for the Town of Barre Fire Department, with crews responding to 17 calls for service over a two-day span.
Officials credited the successful response to the dedication of both on-duty and off-duty firefighters, as well as the vital support of mutual aid partners who assisted in handling the heavy call volume.
“We couldn’t have done it without the teamwork of our firefighters and neighboring departments,” the department said in a statement. “Their commitment to keeping our community safe makes all the difference.”
The department also extended thanks to the Central Massachusetts Regional Emergency Communication Center for their role in coordinating responses during the surge in activity.
