Exeter Engine-Tanker 25 Deployed to Knock Down Vehicle Blaze Threatening Structure

Exeter TWP, PA - Firefighters from the Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched into neighboring Robeson Township on Wednesday evening after a burning vehicle threatened an adjacent structure.

Just before 8:00 p.m. on September 16, 2026, emergency dispatchers alerted regional units to reports of a vehicle fire along Main Street. First-arriving officer Sergeant 24 reached the scene and confirmed a working vehicle fire, noting that the vehicle was in close proximity to an exposure.

Engine-Tanker 25 made the response from Exeter and was placed directly into service upon arrival. Crews pulled an attack line, swiftly applying water to extinguish the blaze while shielding the nearby property from radiant heat and direct flame contact.

Thanks to the rapid knock-down, the fire was contained strictly to the vehicle, averting any damage or extension to the exposure. No injuries were reported.
