Old Saybrook, CT - Firefighters, whether volunteer or career, must train under realistic conditions to refine their skills and build confidence. On Tuesday night, September 16, 2025, the Old Saybrook Fire Department Training Division conducted its Fall Live Fire training session. During the exercise, firefighters were confronted with intense fire conditions and practiced the effective application of fire streams to prepare for real emergency responses. Excellent work by the Training Division.
