Essex Junction, Vt. — September 16 — On Tuesday, the Essex Junction Fire Department conducted simulated smoke training evolutions at 187 Pearl Street, giving firefighters an opportunity to sharpen their response skills in realistic conditions.
Residents were advised not to be alarmed by the presence of simulated smoke, fire apparatus, and personnel at the site. These training exercises are a vital part of preparing crews for real-world emergencies and ensuring the safety of the community.
