Gorham FD Joins Regional Firefighters in 5K Tribute

Gorham, Maine — September 6 — On Saturday morning, 10 firefighters from the Gorham Fire Department completed the Stephen Ward 9/11 Memorial 5K while wearing full turnout gear to honor the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
A total of 18 firefighters represented the Gorham, Standish, Windham, Raymond, Westbrook, and Portland Fire Departments at the event. Their dedication not only honored the fallen but also reflected the unity and spirit of the fire service community.
