Mechanic Falls Hosts Regional EVOC Training

Mechanic Falls, Maine — September 20 — Firefighters and emergency personnel from Mechanic Falls and surrounding towns came together today to begin a two-day Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) taught by four local instructors.
The course provides new operators with the essential skills and knowledge they need to safely drive and handle emergency apparatus under a variety of conditions. Once the training is completed, participants will return to their home departments to finish vehicle-specific sign-offs.
