Sept. 24, 2025 — Over the weekend, members of the Noroton Fire Department participated in safety and survival training, sharpening essential skills that prepare firefighters for unexpected emergencies on the fireground.
These exercises focus on situational awareness, self-rescue, and rapid decision-making, ensuring firefighters are equipped to protect themselves and their team members in dangerous conditions.
Department leaders emphasized that regular survival training not only improves firefighter safety but also enhances the department’s ability to serve the community with confidence and efficiency.
