Pedestrian Airlifted After Evening Crash in Angelica

Angelica, N.Y. — September 16 — At 6:38 p.m., Angelica Fire and Rescue (ANGELFR) was dispatched to a serious car vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of County Road 16 and County Road 2.
Responding units — MT00, AG0, and MTALS — arrived to find a patient reportedly unconscious and in need of urgent care. Crews provided immediate medical attention at the scene while coordinating with EMS and law enforcement.
A medical helicopter was requested and landed nearby to transport the patient to a trauma center for advanced treatment. The quick work of first responders and the use of air medical transport helped ensure the patient received rapid care.
