Vehicle Overturns at Fremont Street and North Avenue Intersection in Millvale

Pittsburgh, PA - Emergency rescue crews from multiple area fire companies mobilized Thursday morning to mitigate a vehicle rollover accident at a busy local intersection in Millvale.
On the morning of September 17, 2026, emergency dispatchers alerted regional rescue services to reports of an overturned vehicle at the intersection of Fremont Street and North Avenue.
A coordinated rescue assignment was placed in service, bringing together specialized units including Rescue 260 (Cherry City VFC), Rescue 191 (Millvale VFC), and Rescue 259 (Sharps Hill VFD). Arriving personnel immediately conducted a scene size-up, established perimeter traffic control, and secured the overturned vehicle using stabilization struts and cribbing to eliminate shifting hazards.
