Wolfeboro, N.H. — September 1 — The Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department responded overnight to assist Wakefield Fire/Rescue at a multi-alarm brush fire. Crews worked in rugged terrain under low-light conditions to help contain the fire and support overhaul operations.
Officials reported that the fire burned through a wooded area and required coordinated efforts from multiple departments. Mutual aid resources were vital in controlling the incident and protecting surrounding property. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
