Trumbull, Conn. — September 17 —The Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Inc. celebrated its 100th anniversary earlier this week, honoring a century of service and commitment to the town. Leaders of the company expressed gratitude to all current and former employees whose dedication and selflessness have kept the department afloat over the years. On October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the company will held its annual open house at Trumbull Center Station 1, 860 White Plains Road, inviting the community to join in celebrating the milestone. Residents will have the opportunity to meet members, take a tour of the station, and discover more about the company's history and fire safety during the event.
