Trumbull, Conn. — September 15 —On Monday, the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company, No. 1 took part in the Orange Convention Parade. T104 stood out by displaying a flag at the parade's conclusion, while E101, despite not winning any awards this year, was praised for its sleek appearance. The department looked back on a successful season, even though they didn't bring any hardware home today: E101 won Best Appearing Apparatus four times and Best Appearing Custom once. For another successful parade year, the company thanked the Connecticut Parade Marshals Association (CPMA), volunteers, and all participating departments.
