Ramsey Crews Responded to Early-Morning Shed Fire

Ramsey, N.J. — September 29 — The Ramsey NJ Fire Department and Ramsey Rescue were called early on Monday morning to the back of a house on Madison Avenue due to a reported fire.

The department was sent out around 5:13 a.m. to investigate a possible fire. When the police and fire units arrived, they confirmed that a small shed was on fire behind the house.

Engine 433, Tower Ladder 441, and Ramsey Rescue were involved in the response. Firefighters rapidly put out the fire and then performed overhaul procedures in the affected area to ensure there were no remaining hot spots or signs of the fire spreading further.

The Ramsey firefighters used the appropriate equipment to reach and extinguish the fire, and they also checked the surrounding area for any additional dangers. According to the department's report, there were no injuries and the fire did not spread into the main part of the house.

Once the fire was fully extinguished and the affected areas were checked, the Ramsey units finished their tasks and went back to their normal duties.
