Hammonton, N.J. — September 29 — Hammonton Independent Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 recognized firefighters Michael Bakuckas, Sean Oliva, and Cameron Digiovannangelo for completing a 51-mile run from the Atlantic City Boardwalk to the Cape May Lighthouse to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The run, which took about 10 hours, raised $14,000 to support the families of fallen first responders and Gold Star families.
Company leaders praised the effort for both its fundraising success and for raising awareness of the foundation’s mission within the fire service community.
