Colrain, MA - During the monthly RIT drill, department members focused on essential firefighter survival skills. Crews practiced pack conversions, ensuring that both seasoned and newer members could efficiently manage air supply emergencies under pressure. In addition, the newest member of the department received hands-on orientation with the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), learning the fundamentals of its operation and safety procedures.
