Hackensack, N.J. — September 29 —Together with Local 3172, members of Hackensack Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 2081, took part in the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in New York City on Monday. FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, the September 11 victims, and first responders and military personnel who have given their lives are all honored at this yearly event.

The 2025 run was scheduled for Sunday, September 28, with participants retracing the final footsteps of Firefighter Siller from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center site. Hackensack firefighters said their participation reflects solidarity, respect, and a shared commitment to remembering those lost on 9/11.
