Ocean Fire Company Assisted at Point Pleasant Structure Fire

Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. — September 28 — Members of Ocean Fire Company and Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No.2 participated in a mutual aid assignment to support the Point Pleasant Borough Fire Department during a structure fire.
Ocean Fire Company Rescue Engine 42-11 was dispatched to the scene and worked in coordination with Point Pleasant firefighters during the fire suppression and overhaul phases.
The crew stayed on site to help identify any remaining fire, inspect affected areas, and assist with the main fireground operations.
The Point Pleasant Borough Fire Department operated from Station 75, located at 1 Memorial Drive, and provided emergency services to the borough as part of its regular operations.
The department often collaborated with nearby agencies to secure additional resources during emergencies.
Ocean Fire Company No. 1 and Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No.2 were the two fire departments responsible for serving Point Pleasant Beach. Both departments relied on volunteer firefighters and offered continuous protection to both residents and visitors.
Mutual aid agreements enabled neighboring fire departments to provide extra personnel and equipment when needed.
This response also allowed firefighters from the involved departments to collaborate on various fireground activities, such as fire attack and overhaul.
After completing their assistance, the Ocean Fire Company crew returned to Point Pleasant Beach.
