Ocean Fire Company Responded to Vehicle Fire

Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. — September 26 — Members of Ocean Fire Company No.1 answered a call about a vehicle fire as part of the department's recent emergency responses in Point Pleasant Beach.

Firefighters arrived with the necessary equipment to handle the vehicle fire and took steps to manage the situation effectively.

When dealing with vehicle fires, the crews had to take into account factors like how the fire might spread, the traffic conditions, potential fuel sources, and dangers from damaged vehicles while working along the roadside.

Ocean Fire Company No. 1 was one of two volunteer fire departments serving Point Pleasant Beach. The borough identified Ocean Fire Company as Station 42, while Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company No.2 was known as Station 43.

The department had a long tradition of offering volunteer services within the community and had responded to various types of emergencies, such as motor vehicle accidents, alarm calls, fires, and other incidents. Ocean Fire Company noted that its members consistently engaged in training to keep their emergency response skills up to date.

The vehicle fire offered firefighters another chance to use their training and collaborate during an emergency response.
