After 29 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Southern Manatee Fire Rescue, Chief Robert Bounds Jr. is retiring. SMFR celebrated his years with a Change of Leadership ceremony. Deputy Chief Daniel Anderson was officially promoted and will assume the responsibility of the Fire Chief. Thank you to both for the leadership you provide.
