On Sunday September 28th 2025 the Suffolk County Sheriff Office hosted a law enforcement open house at the Yaphank Correctional Facility. The department had their fleet on display for the public to see. The department conducted three live demonstrations which were S.E.R.T prison riot, motorcycle obstacle course, and a canine felony stop.
