Mashpee, MA - The department was dispatched following a report of a possible vessel in distress, described as a small craft located approximately a quarter mile off New Seabury proper. Crews deployed from Headquarters and rendezvoused with the Mashpee Harbormaster staff before proceeding aboard Marine 2.

Upon arrival, no hazards were identified, and the vessel in question was able to return to port safely. The operation highlighted effective inter-agency collaboration and the continued readiness of local response teams.
