On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 1940 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in the vicinity of 64 Road and Grand Central Parkway, within the confines of the 112 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. There are no arrest at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
