South Essex, N.J. — September 28: The newest probationary members of the South Essex Fire Department have completed half of their Firefighter II training at the Bergen County Fire Academy. Practical exercises in vehicle stabilization, the safe removal of simulated patients, and the use of hydraulic and battery-powered tools were all part of the session.
