Park Ridge, N.J. — September 20, 2025 — The Park Ridge Volunteer Fire Department has upgraded the nozzles on both engines with new Elkhart Brass nozzles, improving efficiency and safety on the fireground.
The project standardized operations — from pump panel levers to hose colors and nozzle handles — making communication clearer and reducing confusion during incidents.
Department leaders said the upgrade was made possible through the continued support of residents, Mayor Keith Misciagna, and the Borough Council, ensuring firefighters have the tools needed to protect the community.
