The Closter Fire Department extends its gratitude to the New Milford Fire Department for hosting and facilitating a live vehicle burn at their site last evening. During the training, Closter FD members reviewed, refreshed, and practiced essential vehicle fire skills and tactics. The session also provided valuable time to become acclimated with the department’s new “Turtle” water appliance, designed for handling EV vehicle fires.
