COLCHESTER, CT - At 6:20 P.M. on Saturday, September 27th, the Colchester Fire Department with Bozrah Ladder 126, Hebron Engine 210, Marlborough Engine 117 and the Yantic FAST were dispatched to 160 Pleasant Street for a house fire. Salem Car 21 arrived at 6:25 P.M. with smoke showing from the exterior wall on the A/B corner.
Engine 128 laid in from the hydrant and stretched a one-and-three-quarter-inch hose line to the left side of the home. Truck 1 opened the wall from the exterior while crews checked the interior for extension. Marlborough covered Colchester Headquarters and the rest of the assignment was dismissed. The Colchester Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
