Cliffside Park, N.J. — September 24 — On Wednesday, the Cliffside Park Volunteer Fire Department hosted a Fire Escape Safety Class at its firehouse, presented by Maximum Fire Escapes.
More than 50 people attended the session, which focused on proper inspection, maintenance, and safe use of fire escapes—vital for occupant safety in many older buildings.
Department leaders highlighted that public education on fire escape safety plays a key role in preventing injuries and improving emergency response during emergencies.
