Monroe Crews Assisted After Vehicle Hit Utility Pole

Monroe, CT — September 25 — Monroe Volunteer Fire Department No.1, along with Monroe police and emergency medical services, responded to a single-vehicle car crash on Elm Street near Twinbrook Terrace.

The collision involved a vehicle that hit a utility pole.

The driver did not report any injuries, and utility workers arrived to repair the damage and address the broken pole.

The department stated that this crash was the 18th emergency call handled by Monroe volunteer firefighters in the previous week.
