Penn Forest firefighters provide station coverage in Freeland

FREELAND, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 10) — Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Company #2 sent Engine 2210 to cover the Freeland Fire Department earlier Wednesday while multiple Luzerne County departments battled a working fire.
Volunteers remained on standby in Freeland for about four hours. Additional personnel staffed the Penn Forest station during that time to ensure local coverage.
