Firefighters clear tree on wires, restore power in Bowmanstown

BOWMANSTOWN, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 23) — Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, assisted by Parryville Volunteer Fire Co. #2, responded Tuesday night to Ore and Fireline where a tree had come down on wires, officials said.
Crews removed the fallen tree from the roadway and extinguished a small fire before PPL crews arrived to restore power to residents.
