The Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Company highlighted its efforts to engage and retain new volunteers, emphasizing the importance of hands-on training.
New members are guided through one-on-one familiarization exercises covering essential skills such as pulling hoselines and operating the power stretcher. These sessions not only build knowledge and confidence but also help introduce recruits to fellow firefighters.
