September 10, 2025 — Members of the Boston Volunteer Fire Department spent Tuesday evening honing their emergency response skills during a scheduled training night.
Firefighters practiced key techniques including command structure, hose deployment and advancement, and search and rescue operations. Department leaders praised the dedication of their volunteers and the progress made during the session.
The department encourages community members interested in firefighting to reach out for guidance on how to get involved.
“Keep up the good work,” officials said, while reminding residents to stay safe.
