GALLITZIN, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 16) — Members of the Gallitzin Fire Company joined Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday night for joint training.

Firefighters reviewed equipment layouts on each other’s apparatus before working together on hose line and ladder operations at a simulated structure fire.

Officials said the training strengthened cooperation between the departments and will continue in the future.
